Q: What kind of foundation do you need for a container house?
A: Generally, concrete piers are chosen as the foundation, and the number of piers depends on the number of container houses. If you use a single 20-foot container to build a house, you will need 6 piers, 4 placed at the four corners of the container, and 2 placed in the middle of the container house. If it is built with multiple containers and there is a second floor, in addition to increasing the number of piers, the piers also need to be driven deeper.
