Main Structure
Constructed with weathering steel (Corten steel) or hot-dip galvanized steel, meeting EN 1993 (European Standard 3) design standards, offering excellent resistance to wind and snow loads and seismic performance. The enclosure is a standard 20ft expansion unit, effectively increasing indoor office space when expanded laterally.
Waterproofing System
The roof uses PVC waterproof membrane (thickness ≥1.5mm) or aluminum foil-covered self-adhesive modified bitumen, passing the DIN 4102 B1 flame retardant test, suitable for Switzerland's rainy and snowy climate.
Thermal Insulation
Walls and roof are filled with high-density rock wool (density ≥120kg/m³, thickness ≥75mm), with a thermal conductivity ≤0.04 W/(m·K), meeting the Swiss Minergie low-energy building standard.
Connection Sealing
EPDM sealing strips (temperature resistant -40℃~120℃) and polyurethane sealant are used, ensuring airtightness meets ISO 9972 standards and preventing cold air infiltration.
Indoor Flooring
12mm thick reinforced composite flooring (AC4 wear-resistant rating, E0 formaldehyde-free substrate) or LVT stone-plastic click flooring (zero plasticizers, passed Swiss SGS volatile organic compound testing), with an anti-slip rating of R10, suitable for high-traffic areas in offices.
Outdoor Flooring
Anti-slip aluminum sheet (pattern depth ≥2mm, anodized surface) or fiberglass grating, meeting anti-slip standard DIN 51130 R13, for balconies and entrances.
Wood-Plastic Composite (WPC) Platform (Second-floor terrace and balcony)
HDPE co-extruded WPC (60% recycled high-density polyethylene + 40% bamboo fiber), UV resistant to ASTM D2565 Class 8, water absorption ≤1.5%, flexural strength ≥25MPa, suitable for the high temperature difference of Switzerland's outdoor environment.
Ceiling
Micro-perforated aluminum panels (0.8mm thickness, 2.5mm aperture, with non-woven sound-absorbing felt), noise reduction coefficient NRC≥0.7, meeting the acoustic requirements of office areas; or fireproof gypsum board (A2 fire rating, compliant with Swiss VKF certification).
Electrical Distribution Box
IP65 outdoor stainless steel distribution box, with built-in ABB or Schneider components, compliant with SN 411011 Swiss electrical installation standard, equipped with 30mA leakage protection and surge protector.
Staircase and Second-Floor Platform
Hot-dip galvanized steel staircase (3mm thick patterned steel plate for steps, R12 anti-slip), handrail height 1.1m, meeting SIA 500 Swiss building standards. Flip-up doors with guardrails: Pneumatic spring-assisted flip-up doors; guardrails are made of aluminum alloy and tempered laminated glass (safety glass EN 12600 standard), balancing transparency and safety.
Functional Zoning (Office + Leisure + Storage)
Office Area
- Area: Approximately 15m², accommodating 4–6 workstations.
- Configuration: Ceiling‑mounted LED flat panel lights (4000K neutral light, color rendering index Ra ≥85), branch circuit power supply from the distribution box (with five 5‑hole sockets and two USB ports), and wall‑mounted Swiss standard SEV 1011 sockets.
- Environment: Rock wool sound insulation + double‑glazed windows (heat transfer coefficient U‑value ≤1.3 W/(m²·K)), noise reduction up to 40dB.
Balcony
- Area: Approximately 4m², paved with outdoor non‑slip aluminum panels, featuring a flip‑up panel with guardrail at the edge (expanding indoor space when the panel is folded up and forming a safe balcony when lowered). Used for employee rest and taking in views.
- Drainage: Stainless steel linear floor drain with a 2% slope leading to drain pipes at the corner of the container.
Second-floor terrace
- Area: Approximately 18m² (load‑bearing frame added to the top of the container), paved with WPC platform (joist spacing ≤300mm), designed for a load of 3.0 kN/m² (can accommodate leisure tables and chairs). Accessible via an exterior inclined staircase (40° angle, 800mm wide).
- Additional features: The terrace edge is equipped with a 1.1m high combined guardrail (vertical bar spacing ≤110mm), meeting Swiss fall protection standards. Solar lighting or outdoor power interfaces can be installed.
