container kitchen 7

This product is a 40HQ container kitchen customised for export to the Australian market. The project includes complete fit-out of a toilet/equipment room, electrical system, water supply and drainage system. The specification is a 40HQ container (internal volume approx. 67.7–68 m³), quantity: 1 unit. It is a mobile commercial unit within Fangda Magic House's core product range, primarily for commercial catering scenarios.

Parameter Chinese Standard Australian Standard Requirement Fangda Advantage
Water absorption ≤0.5% (full porcelain) AS ISO 10545.3:2020 requires ≤0.5% for exported porcelain tiles Fangda uses full porcelain tiles with ≤0.5% water absorption, meeting strict Australian requirements
Slip resistance Static COF >0.60 AS 4586-2013/Amdt1-2017 Appendix A (P-value/R-value test); kitchen/toilet require P4/P5 or R11+ Fangda selects tiles that pass wet pendulum test (BPN≥45)
Breaking strength ≥1300 N AS 13006:2020 requires first-grade Fangda materials undergo third-party compression testing
Abrasion resistance PEI grade ≥4 Commercial kitchens require Class 4+ Fangda selects high-wear tiles for high-traffic commercial scenarios

Special note for Australian export: According to 2025 data from China Ceramic Industry Association, porcelain tiles with water absorption ≤0.5% account for 62.5% of total exports to Australia. Some exported tiles pose slip safety risks. Australian Standard AS 4586-2013/Amdt1-2017 Appendix A is widely referenced by the National Construction Code (NCC). Non-compliance may incur legal liability in case of slip accidents. Fangda Magic House strictly selects tiles that meet both GB/T 37798-2019 (DCOF≥0.42) and AS 4586 wet pendulum test (BPN≥45), avoiding quality and safety risks at the source.

Component Australian Standard Fangda Advantage
Recessed downlights AS/NZS 60598 (Luminaire safety) Fangda selects SAA-certified downlights
Switches AS/NZS 3133 (Switch standard) Fangda selects SAA-certified switches with double-pole disconnection
Sockets (double-pole) AS/NZS 3112 (Plug & socket safety) Fangda selects SAA-certified sockets; double-pole is mandatory in Australia
Flush-mount distribution board AS/NZS 3000 (Wiring rules) + AS/NZS 61439 Fangda selects SAA-certified distribution board with RCD
Electrical wires AS/NZS 3191 / AS/NZS 60227.5 Fangda selects SAA-certified wires – flame-retardant, high-temperature resistant
Conduit AS/NZS 2053 (Electrical conduit standard) Fangda pre-installs conduit in compliance with standards

Key explanations

Double-pole socket (double-pole switch): This is a core Australian electrical safety requirement – all power sockets must disconnect both live and neutral conductors simultaneously. Fangda selects all electrical products strictly according to this standard.

01

SAA certification

Electrical products entering the Australian market must meet SAA certification, which adopts the AS/NZS standard system. Power interfaces must comply with AS/NZS 3112, luminaires with AS/NZS 60598 series.

02

Infrared sensor control

Toilet lighting is controlled by an infrared sensor – Fangda selects SAA-certified infrared sensor switches compliant with AS/NZS 3133.

03

Interlocking of lights and roller shutter control

The equipment room lighting switch is interlocked with the roller shutter door control point. Fangda's electrical team can design the interlocking logic as required for one-touch operation.

04

Ceiling luminaire connection method

Requires connection via plug and socket (not soldered), using simple porcelain lampholders. Fangda strictly follows this installation practice to ensure safety and compliance.

Special Requirements Analysis & Fangda Technical Advantages

Analysis: This is a critical installation practice for export container houses – drain pipes are stubbed out but not pre-connected to facilitate on-site connection to local sewer systems. The 80mm extension below the baseplate allows easy site access.

Fangda Advantage: Fangda strictly follows a "factory-ready" delivery model. All water and electrical pre-installation is completed at the factory. Drain stub-outs are precisely positioned, and exposed ends are protected with waterproof tape + protective caps to prevent sand ingress and damage during transport.

Requirement confirmation

Share your café requirements with our sales team, and they will provide several design proposals for you to choose from.

Develop design proposals

Designers create proposals based on your requirements, offering clear, visual options for your selection.

Payment

If you only require design drawings, we will send them to you upon payment. If you wish to proceed with both design and manufacturing, you can pay a 50% deposit upfront and the remaining 50% after the final product inspection and acceptance.

Production

Once requirements are confirmed and payment is made, we begin production. We provide daily updates on the manufacturing process-covering frame welding, wall panel installation, plumbing and electrical rough-ins, painting, and interior fit-out-by sending you relevant videos and photos, ensuring full transparency throughout the production journey.

Product acceptance

Upon completion, our production team conducts a waterproofing test and an initial inspection to check structural integrity, paint uniformity, and the quality of interior wall panels and flooring. After our internal inspection, we invite you to conduct your own acceptance check-either via video, an in-person visit to our factory, or through a third-party inspector.

Shipping

We secure internal items like tables, chairs, kitchen equipment, and furniture with protective framing and apply protective film to windows. The unit is then shipped to your port via container or direct transport. It typically takes one to two months to arrive at your destination port.

FAQ

Q: Does your company is a factory or trade company?

A: We are factory, so you will enjoy the best price and competitive price.

Q: Can you offer designing service?

A: Yes, we have own design engineers. We could design full solution drawings as per your requirements.

Q: Do you accept container loading inspection?

A: You are welcomed to send an inspector, not only for the container loading, but any time during the production time.

Q: Do you have stock for all items?

A: In general, we produce based on the order which we confirmed.

Q: Are container homes safe?

A: Shipping containers are as safe and reliable as traditional homes. We all know that shipping containers can transport many different types of goods over long distances and need to go through many bumpy roads. This is a strict test for shipping containers and ensures that the goods can reach the customer unscathed. This also fully demonstrates the safety and reliability of shipping containers. They can withstand many tests such as weather and natural disasters, so container houses transformed from shipping containers are also safe and reliable.

Q: Are shipping containers hot to live in?

A: In fact, if no measures are taken, the container house will indeed be very hot when used in summer. We can consider making some modifications to the interior and exterior walls of the container, such as adding insulation materials, pasting wall panels on the exterior walls, and installing air conditioners inside to ensure that the container house can provide comfort under any temperature conditions.
