Core Structure Material
-

As a double-story container coffee space, the strength of the steel structure directly determines the building's service life and risk resistance. Fangda Magic House selected welded steel structures with a thickness of 2.5-3.0mm for this cafe. This parameter strictly adheres to the structural requirements for temporary buildings in coastal areas as stipulated in the Australian Standard AS 4100-1998 (Steel Structures Design Standard).
-

Some coastal cities in Australia are constantly affected by the southeast trade winds, with instantaneous wind speeds reaching over Level 10 on the Beaufort scale. The 2.5-3.0mm thick welded steel structure offers more than 30% greater structural strength compared to the industry standard of 2.0mm. The integral frame, formed through full welding, effectively resists strong winds and prevents container deformation. Simultaneously, during the occasional hailstorms that occur in southern Australia in winter, the thickened steel structure also reduces damage to the container caused by external impacts, ensuring the structural safety of the second-floor dining area.
-

This 30-foot container café, constructed with welded steel, also boasts excellent corrosion resistance. After phosphating treatment, the steel surface is coated with epoxy zinc-rich primer, with a zinc layer content exceeding 80μm, which meets the corrosion protection requirements for high-salt spray environments in coastal areas as specified in the Australian Standard AS/NZS 4792 (Metal Corrosion Protection Coatings Standard). This forms electrochemical protection in Australia's high-humidity coastal environment, preventing the steel from corroding due to sea salt and ensuring a service life of over 20 years for the main structure.
Wall System
The container coffee shop's walls adopt a composite structure of "galvanized steel plate + steel beam + 50mm insulation layer + integrated wall panel." This four-layer composite system is one of Fangda Magic House's core technologies for adapting to the Australian climate and meeting Australian standards.

The outer walls of the container coffee bar
The outer layer uses a 0.8mm thick high-zinc galvanized steel plate with a zinc layer weight of 180g/㎡, far exceeding the 120g/㎡ required by the Australian Standard AS/NZS 4792 (Continuous Hot-Dip Galvanized Steel Sheet Standard). Under Australia's intense ultraviolet radiation, the high-zinc layer forms a dense zinc oxide protective layer, which slows down the aging of the steel plate. The black fluorocarbon paint coating has a weather resistance rating of above Level 5 in accordance with the ISO 11341 standard, guaranteeing no fading or chalking for 10 years and maintaining a long-lasting aesthetic appearance. The middle 50mm rock wool insulation layer has a thermal conductivity of only 0.04W/(m·K), complying with the insulation requirements for commercial buildings in the Australian National Construction Code (NCC 2022). It effectively blocks outdoor heat during Australia's summer, when temperatures often exceed 35℃, and reduces heat loss in winter. Compared to the single-layer sheet metal structure of ordinary containers, air conditioning energy consumption can be reduced by more than 40%.
Interior walls of the container shop
The inner integrated wall panels are made of bamboo fiber material with a UV film coating on the surface. They not only have Class A fire resistance (meeting the Australian Standard AS 1530.3 for the fire performance of building materials) but also resist mold growth in humid environments. In some parts of Australia, summer humidity can reach up to 70%, and the moisture-proof performance of the integrated wall panels prevents mold growth and peeling. Their modular installation method makes future maintenance more convenient, allowing customers to quickly change the wall style according to their business needs. The customized blue wall panels use environmentally friendly water-based paint with a VOC content of less than 10g/L, complying with the Australian Indoor Air Quality Standard (AS 3666-2014) and ensuring the health of both operators and customers.

Flooring System
An Australian Standard-Compliant Layered Design
Indoor Stone Plastic Composite (SPC) Flooring
The first-floor operating area of container bar use SPC (Stone Plastic Composite) flooring. Its core raw materials are natural stone powder and PVC resin, which are free of harmful substances such as formaldehyde and benzene, meeting the E0-grade requirements of the Australian Standard for Engineered Wood Products (AS/NZS 1859.1). The wear-resistant layer on the floor surface is 0.55mm thick and can withstand over 10,000 rotations, making it capable of enduring the high-frequency foot traffic and friction from tables and chairs in catering establishments. This extends its service life to more than twice that of traditional wooden flooring.

Terrace Wood-Plastic Composite (WPC) Flooring
The upper and lower terraces adopt a composite structure of "galvanized steel plate + steel beam + WPC flooring." WPC (Wood-Plastic Composite), made by extruding a mixture of 60% wood powder and 40% PVC resin, combines wood texture with plastic durability. Under Australia's strong UV environment, the UV stabilizers in WPC flooring prevent fading and aging, and its anti-slip texture provides a friction coefficient of over 0.6, complying with Australian Standard AS 4586-2013 (Slip Resistance of Pedestrian Surfaces) to avoid customer slips even in rain. Compared to traditional wooden flooring, it requires no regular painting, has excellent insect resistance, and suits Australia's complex outdoor climate; the galvanized steel base offers solid support with a load-bearing capacity of 200kg per square meter, meeting the commercial terrace load requirements of Australian Standard AS 1170.1-2002 and ensuring safety for multiple diners.

Electrical System
The electrical configuration of the container coffee bar includes switches, sockets, LED lights, waterproof sockets, and a distribution box. All electrical components are SAA-certified in Australia and comply with the Australian Electrical Installation Standard (AS/NZS 3000-2018). The waterproof sockets have an IP66 protection rating, meeting the outdoor power supply needs during Australia's summer rainstorms; the LED lights have a color rendering index (Ra) of ≥80, accurately presenting the colors of coffee and food to enhance customers' appetites; the distribution box is equipped with built-in overload and leakage protection devices to ensure electrical safety. The use of remote control switches allows operators to remotely control indoor and outdoor lighting, improving operational efficiency.

Opening and Closing System
A hinge system consisting of two winches and steel cables serves as the core opening and closing device for the second-floor terrace. The winches are made of 304 stainless steel, providing rust and corrosion resistance, while the steel cables are galvanized aircraft cables with a diameter of 8mm and a breaking strength exceeding 5 tons, enabling smooth control of the lifting and lowering of the terrace canopy. In Australia's coastal areas, this combination of materials can resist corrosion from sea salt, ensuring the long-term stable operation of the opening and closing system. This allows the second-floor dining area to flexibly switch between indoor and outdoor modes, complying with the Australian Standard for Lifting Equipment Safety (AS 1418.1-2000).

Customized Catering Equipment
The configured kitchen equipment of the Australia black container cafe is made of food-grade 304 stainless steel, complying with Standard 1.5.3 of the Australian Food Standards Code issued by Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ). The heating elements of equipment such as fryers and sandwich makers are made of nickel-chromium alloy, which provides fast heating and high thermal efficiency; the range hood filters are made of stainless steel and can be cleaned repeatedly to prevent oil blockages; the insulation layers of the refrigerators and freezers use cyclopentane foaming technology, which offers excellent insulation performance, is environmentally friendly, and CFC-free, complying with Australia's strict environmental regulations (National Pollutant Inventory - NPI).
