This is a 10-foot container coffee shop designed for export to Canada; the client ordered four units to be used for street-side coffee and beverage sales. We have previously manufactured many similar 10-foot cafés for export to countries such as France and the United States. While earlier projects featured advertising signage installed according to client specifications, this particular client requested to arrange for local advertising signage after the units arrived in Canada. The structure features a steel frame with welded corrugated steel siding and a rock wool insulation layer; the interior utilizes integrated wall panels and resilient flooring. Custom cabinetry has also been installed to provide ample storage space.

Thermal Performance
75mm rock wool + aluminum foil vapor barrier provides thermal resistance (RSI value) approx. 1.85 m²·K/W. Combined with double-glazed tempered glass windows (5+12A+5mm), the interior can maintain 18–22°C when outside temperature is -30°C, reducing heat loss by about 40% compared to standard containers.
Snow Load
Design live load on roof ≥2.5kN/m² (approx. 255kg/m²), meeting requirements of the National Building Code of Canada (NBC 2020) for regions like Toronto and Montreal where snow load reaches 1.2–1.8m. The 2% roof slope prevents water/snow accumulation.
Condensation Prevention
A 0.2mm PE moisture barrier is installed between rock wool and integrated wall panels to prevent condensation and mold growth at corners and window frames during winter.
Impact Resistance
The 2.0mm exterior corrugated sheet (vs. typical 1.2mm) resists dents from snow shovels, trash bins, and falling icicles.
Corrosion Resistance
Galvanized + heavy-duty coating system passes ASTM B117 salt spray test for 500 hours without red rust – ideal for coastal cities and roads treated with de-icing salts (NaCl/CaCl₂).
Floor Durability
PVC cushion passes residual indentation test (≤0.1mm per EN 433). It withstands thousands of daily footfalls and coffee spills, and is easy to clean. XPS board underneath prevents frost heave.

Q: Do you offer off-grid solutions?
A: Yes. We can supply off-grid power & water systems including solar panel systems and water recycling / treatment systems for remote areas. These components are factory-packaged, pre-designed and pre-tested to ensure reliability. However, final on-site assembly and installation must be performed by you or your local team.
Q: What sizes and layouts are available?
A: Same as standard 20ft (15m²) and 40ft (30m²) shipping containers. Layout options: 1 or 2 bedrooms. Includes electrical, plumbing, interior finishing, bathroom, kitchen, glass windows & doors. Custom floor plan available.
Q: Is it equipped for food service? What is included?
A: Yes. Pre-fitted with commercial-grade electrical (220V/110V), plumbing for sink and drainage, built-in counter, LED lighting, and ventilation. Ready for point-of-sale and kitchen equipment.
Q: Can you customize the exterior with my branding?
A: Yes. Customizable RAL exterior colors, logo placement, signage area, window configuration (service window option), and interior layout. CAD included.
